Unfortunately we never had any success with the drone last night. Got someone heading out with thermal imaging today keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome let’s get Nala home safe and secure and most importantly where she belongs. - Owner originally asked for help from Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue - ADDR who gave advice.
As ADDR's drone resources were temporarily unavailale, and the point of loss was close to the boundary with Dumfries & Galloway, they referred the case to Lee, admin at local group Lost Dogs Dumfries & Galloway.
An appeal was then posted on Drone SAR but their pilots were some distance away.
Many thanks goes to local DogLost Volunteer Caitlin for finding a local drone pilot who is willing to help, and for liaising with Lee Herron at Lost Dogs Dumfries & Galloway.
Fingers crossed for a successful outcome.
Being shared to DogLost Central Scotland and DogLost Borders & South West Scotland as well as local groups.
