- Update on Busy
Here's a quick update on the two girlie's we picked up yesterday.
Both have had a much needed bath, though they didn't much appreciate the blow dry!
Busy has been shaved due to pretty severe matting and the signs of a recent pregnancy are clear to see. Just like Jessie, under all that fluff she also had some mean looking talons which have since been snipped.
Both girls appear to have been bred from repeatedly and may have been kept confined, or at the very least given limited opportunities to exercise and wear their nails down.
In brighter news, Busy will be headed to Cinque Ports Rescue tomorrow, where she'll serve the remainder of her 7 days so she can receive emergency dental care. Jessie will be serving her time with us but will be joining Busy later next week. Last edited: 2023-05-25 15:20:19 by Ness- Central area volunteer - 2023-05-24 09:11 Louise
