Smokey is home. He had followed the river for a few miles and was picked up from the local kennels this lunch time.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just spoken to owner. His computer is broken so is unable to post. Have asked him to try and get a photo to admin asap.  His dog just wandered out of an open gate and hasn't been seen since. All vets and dog wardens have been informed but no posters have been put up. Have advised him to poster the area and check ditches, ponds etc. Is there a local helper who could make contact and help with postering?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to see Smokey is missing and thank you for registering with DogLost.

Owner, if not already done so you need to contact Dog Wardens, Rescues and Vets. Please try and personally visit Rescue Centres wherever possible, it is not always a good idea to rely solely on telephone calls. Dogs can be rehomed after seven days so this is extremely important.

It is also very important that you poster heavily. You can print your posters by selecting - Dog Poster 1 - above Dog Information. You need to be logged in to do this. A photo is needed for your poster so if you haven’t already done so, please send one asap to admin@doglost.co.uk.

If at all possible please try and keep us updated with regards to who you have contacted and the areas in which you have postered, this can be done by using the + Add a comment feature.

Good luck and we hope to see Smokey back home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
