- Posters delivered to Suzy at Dawlish Warren earlier this week. We were told that sound travels better at night and dogs may be more receceptive then, so last night Helen & I returned to SW coast path where Kini went missing. Sadly no result, but we did see the distant fireworks from Torquay.
Two phone calls from people who had seen the posters and were trying to help to find Kini: much appreciated. We're still hoping... - 2023-06-16 12:49 Steve Comley Dog Trainer and Behaviourist
- Circulated poster in and around various groups Kingsbridge area.

- James, when we comment "Bumped" it means your dog gets bought to top of listings because something needs highlighting. In this case its because you had media coverage which is fantastic to raise awareness And we want people to know you have. Bumping on our site gets you noticed across uk again...getting media coverage is Encouraged by doglost Being "BUMPED" On here is a good thing xxLast edited: 2023-06-09 20:22:41

- James, 'bump' just means someone commenting on a post so it's brought higher up a board or users' feed so its drawn to more people's attention again. (Supposedly it stands for 'bring up my post').
(I'm not in this area so I can't help with this search unfortunately but I really really hope Kini is found safe) - 2023-06-09 18:51 James
- Sorry, don't understand this. 'Bumped due to media coverage' does this mean you will no longer search for Kini? You've been wonderful getting the word around and putting out posters: isn't media coverage just another way of publicising the missing dog and trying to make people aware so they look out for him? Is media coverage forbidden by Dog Lost? If this is the case why didn't you tell us your rules in advance? We've really valued your efforts.

- Local Paper (MDA) published an article about Kini yesterday (p10) - hope it will help. James and I revisited Labrador Bay where he went missing (no sign of the dog), Smugglers car park and golf club house, went on to Maidencombe, Stokeinteignhead, Combeinteignhead, Bishopsteignton and Haccombe leaving posters where we could. Thank you for the posters, and thank you Lin for oftenbeating us to it putting them up! Someone notified us in the evening that a Facebook report had said a dog in Teignmouth had been barking and howling for the last two days, so we went over there, walked up and down the road calling 'Kini!'and talked to residents. Not Kini...
We're still searching and hoping. - 2023-06-07 09:45 Reynard
- Thank you Lin ๐งก

- Poster! Poster! Poster!
I would suggest to Get Kini noticed is to plaster the area with Posters and perhaps Banners many peeps are not on social media especially if on holiday and may not be aware this Beautiful dog is a missing Dog if sighted ๐
Good luck Kini I hope you make it home ๐ก Last edited: 2023-06-06 15:07:19 by Reynard - 2023-06-05 19:01 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- Thank you to all involved in today's search, dangerous and difficult terrain but they all did an amazing job.
Due to the lack of any sign of Kini in the immediate lost area it is possible that he has moved further afield. The wider area needs posters if anyone is able to display any. - 2023-06-05 17:06 twoDs

- Urgent message for James from DogLost Devon Facebook group.
URGENT TO OWNER: Devon Cave Rescue Organisation will be at Labrador Bay car park at 11am today (Monday 5th June). They will descend the cliff at the point where Kini went over. Please can you make sure you are at the point of loss by 11am to meet them? Please can you confirm receipt of this message ASAP? - 2023-06-04 19:33 James
- Sean and family met me today at the Labrador Bay car park with his drone, which surveyed the area including the coastal strip . Linda who has been so helpful was there and we also met Matt again who had been checking out the area with a family of 3 dogs. The drone footage is been analysed by Sean. - Thank you very much to everyone who is helping: really appreciated. No, we haven't found him yet, but we're still trying... and hoping. Walked the coastline at low tide yesterday - no sign of Kini. Abseiled down the cliffs today (thanks, Matt, you were brilliant!) and explored the seemingly impenetrable thickets where Kini disappeared, but again no sign of him. Thank you for putting Kini on social media and especial thanks to Lin for the posters. We've put up some of our own posters today, and the local paper says it will put in a story about Kini, but sadly, it doesn't come out until Thursday.Thank you all: we'll post the minute we hear anything.

- Sorry to see that KINI is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (184710)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
