this is amazing and wonderful news but how on earth does a dog survive for food and water for 3 long weeks.............. sadly so many newly adopted dogs do run away so its especially great to see another happy ending thanks to the quiet unseen effort of an awful lot of dog lovers

Comment on All Dog Rescue Scotland "The amazing news we’ve all been waiting for. Atlas has been found safe and well. After 3 long weeks on the loose (2 of which we had absolutely no sightings) he eventually came back to civilisation and into the trap the same day it was set back up.
He’s looking well and has gone to live with his brother who’s adopters toyed with adopting Atlas too all along but this was just a sign that everything happens for a reason.
A special thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time, fuel and efforts to go and look for this boy - truly, we can never repay you. We really thought after 2 weeks of no sightings in that heat, it wasn’t going to be good news.
A sad reminder of course that the information we give about dogs being properly secured when walked or even in the garden, is much needed. Sadly not utilising this information and equipment nearly cost this little dog his life."
