We had a sighting of a brown cocker spaniel in Brecon, couple of miles away. We pursued it and were given a name and address and went there. Person showed us their dogs none of which ours but we have a photo of the dog who was seen. We have put up new posters in the area. Other than walking around the area frequently, not sure what else we can do.

Please have a look at a female brown cocker with white chest found on Harvey’s Army North site. A Ste Reid has posted it. Dog now at Manchester Dogs Home. Sorry I couldn’t copy link but I do think it had a look of Daisy. Wishing her home. LouiseB a dog lover x

Have been in touch with kennels in North Ayrshire and they haven’t had a cocker so I don’t think the photo is Daisy. Have also messaged the dog warden for info. Thank you KarenB for being in the lookout. We will follow up any info.

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
