Hi Charlotte I live in Stoke Bruerne and am keeping my eyes open for George. Did you know that another dog was stolen on Saturday 15th June from Station Road, Blisworth? He was in a fenced and locked garden.  Luckily, he turned up at Forest Lodge.

Hi Charlotte, I live fairly near you and I go to Blisworth once a week. If there is anything I can do to help, please tell me. Have you got posters up, in shops, pub, telegraph poles etc. Could he have jumped out, or did someone take him. I have spoken with Georges owner's this morning - they have added a reward for his safe return, he is an old dog and no use for breeding or coursing

Have postered the country lanes from Kislingbury through Rothersthorpe. (not sure how long they will stay up though Stapler broke :( )
Poster at BP M&S garage, Towcester Roundabout - friend who works there looking out further down A45.
Emailed to friends who have connections in the direct area.
Not sure his favourite environment - lanes, fields hedges, river, plenty of shaded areas - but so much long grass, crops etc and unfortunately busy roads :( 
Have given owner my number if she wants me to email, fax vets, kennels etc en mass.
Hurry home George!  xxxx

Possible sighting :- Email from owner :-   Hi, thanks for the information. We have been in touch with the traveller liason officers and the local police, vets, pound etc. I've put up posters in most local venues and had a call last night from a lady in the next village who's seen a Deerhound that isn't usually in her area on the morning he went missing, hopefully that will be him. If George has been picked up and taken to local stray kennels then he should go to Forest Lodge - it is important that you visit the kennel in person and hand them a poster or ask to take a look around. 01604 862239, please do not rely on calls alone here.

George, our Deerhound (similar to an Irish Wolfhound) went missing from Stoke Road, Blisworth area on Sunday 24th May between 2am and 7am. He is a large elderly dog that needs painkillers and special care. If you have taken him in or have seen him anywhere please ring us as soon as possible. His ears have slits in them and he is missing a claw on the left front foot. Thank you. Charlotte 07749218152 / 07762459346
