*** THIS IS A PLEA FOR COMPASSION ***
Rex, (Reksas) went missing from his home on the 6th July 2023. In the eleven days since he went missing he was picked up by the dog warden and served his seven days in kennels.
As soon as the seven days were up Rex, was rehomed even though his owners were constantly looking for him. They updated his chip detail to a fraudulent chip data base thinking they were doing the right thing but sadly this database were only after their money and did nothing else to update the chip.
This family have been left heartbroken and a little boy is missing his friend. We are hoping the new owners of Rex, will see this message and show some compassion and return him to his rightful owner. If you know who the new owners are please pass on this message and make this families lives compleat again lets help get Rex, back home to his family. All costs will be covered so you will not loose any money please do the right thing ❤️❤️❤️
Please contact me here or original owner Agne Cern, with any information 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

- Rex was chipped but was a fraudulent chip base so was never updated correctly.

- Oh how sad for this lovely boy. If only he had been chipped. Just shows how important it is. Bless him. Now he has had to be unnecessarily rehomed. 😢

- K9 UPDATE 17.07.23 - We have located Rex, he was picked up as a stray on 06.07.23 and taken to kennels. The fact that his microchip was unregistered, wardens/kennels couldnt contact an owner. Rex has served the required waiting days and has since been rehomed by kennels. Owner has been notified. - https://www.facebook.com/k9lostdogalerts/posts/pfbid02yDKsGsDQWwpdgLHbdpxJX1kRnCnLMctZD1bARX38CsXfhvnbMGfq15bAS9ek5rBSl

- Sorry to see that REKSAS is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (185736)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
