- LOL Sue - my Mum was off at ninety. She can move when she wants to - so funny. Your IT skills cant be that bad, seeing as you've posted that message ok. That will show hubby when he gets in, bless him. LOL. You did very very well, the pair of you, and your lovely friend and helpers. You listened, and took it all on board. Posters, positivity, and persistance, the three p's brought lovely Finn back home to you. You did it all yourselves. Very very well done, and thank you so much for staying on as helper in your area. Sending lots of love and cuddles to Finn. I bet you'll all be in bed by 10.00 !! xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Our boy is home. Yaaaaaaay
He's in pretty good condition really, only lost a bit of weight and very quiet. Some people had bought him as a present for their son, but saw our posters and called us.
We are very relieved and want to thank doglost for their help and support - especially Yasa who had to help me get Finn back as she was steering her trolley round the supermarket (and trying to track down her mum!!).
We are looking forward to a good nights sleep and we might even enjoy being squashed by dogs!!
As Yasa knows I am rubbish with technology, so will try to get a reunited photo when hubby gets home.
This has been a dreadful four days, and whilst we are absolutely delighted to have our boy back, we know we have been extremely fortunate. We will keep logging on to doglost to see if we can offer help to anyone in a similar situation, and look forward to the time when the new, improved site is up and running.
Big thanks Doglost
Susisu - and Finn

- Still no sign of Finn but we did have a phone call to say he was seen chasing a rabbit in someones garden on Monday night. We feel this is good news as it means he isn't trapped, stolen or dead. It seems he is running around near the Copthorne Golf Club (google map coordinates lat 51? 8'0.07"N lon 0? 6'45.32"W ) so we are concentrating the search in this area.

- Thanks for the update Dave. Spoke to Sue at length this morning - so sorry to hear no luck except with the paw prints you found where she crossed the brook. But as Sue said, she could have gone in any direction from then on. Have tried to cover all aspects and possibilities, so hopefully will have given a few more ideas, but talking to her, you are doing all the right things between you - its just a case of keep going until to eventually get some news. Thankfully dog people help each other, so you have many people keeping eye where she went from. I have emailed you updated poster and flyers as requested, so hopeing these will do the trick. Catch up with you later. Good Luck for today. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi there, sorry we haven't updated before but been having computer problems and unable to access this site. Still no sign of Finn I'm afraid. I've just got back from camping in the woods overnight and there is no sign whatsoever of him. We are trying to remain positive, the leaflet dropping and posting is proving a real success as there seems to be a whole army of people on the look out for him. Everyone we meet knows about Finn and knows how to get in touch with us if they see him. Have done all the things you suggested and would like to thank you for your continued help and great advice. Will keep you posted. thanks again... dave (sue's hubby)

- 00.10 A4 poster and flyers created and emailed to owners. Have also sent general information sheet, Postering guidelines and scenting document. I hope there is good news tomorrow. Owners, if you wish to leave a comment on Finn's page, click on the blue cross above where my comments are. You need to be logged in properly to do this. It would be great if you could let us know how you are getting along, and any sightings of Finn. But hopefully he will be home tomorrow. Good Luck x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- 23.15 Photos uploaded. Owners have gone back to area of loss to do more scenting and to leave articles of clothing. Finn's bed has already been placed there, with food and water. Owners may stay the night in car, but otherwise are returning break of day. Authorities will be properly notified tomorrow and postering started. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
