The dog picked up at the port was indeed Fatty! They found him on Tuesday. Yay! Owners collected him today from the quarantine kennels he'd been taken to. He's fine and is now happily back home. He'll be going to the vets for a check up and he'll be getting chipped too.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owners have had a call from Tilbury Docks. They think they may have Fatty in quarantine.....they thought he'd got off a ship......a stowaway dog! Fingers crossed its him. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo now on site of Fatty. He is a JRT x SBT x Lab, bit bigger and longer legged than a staffie. As you can see from his photo he has a brown head with a white stripe down the middle but also his body is white with 2 brown patches on. Around the nose and chin area he has lost his hair and it will be a bit scabby due to an allergy he had when a pup. He ran off from the Tilbury area, he does not know the area at all, he was visting. There has been a possible sighting today in St Chads Road, Tilbury. Owners have contacted council, kennels etc and have started postering although some kids keep ripping them down <sigh>. They will continue postering, to get those crucial sightings coming in. Owners do not have internet access at the mo. I've emailed scenting and plotting instructions to sallyb09 (sister) who registered Fatty on site so she can pass on to owners.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
