Genie's Mum has emailed saying that this lovely boy has gone to his new forever home - so I am just posting to say how thrilled I am that Blake has now found someone to love him .. well done to Kate for looking after him and for educating him during his 'found' time. Good luck in your new home Blake .... Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Update on this lovely boy, his month with me is up on Monday 7th July so not looking good on finding his owners. I have him booked in at the vets next week for castration and micro chip. If no owners by Monday he is going to his new home the following week. I have checked every possible web site looking for clues on someone missing this lovely boy but nothing, so obviously they don't care as I have made him easy enough to find him. We have called him Blake and he answers to it now, also we have taught him some basic obedience and a few tricks to impress the new owners. House training coming on great but I am sure he will be better when the boy bits come off.

Hi I am looking after the found collie, so if anymore info is needed please ask. I have left a message with the local dog warden so hopefully they will get back to me Monday. This is an outside dog, he is not house trained, and knows very little comands so I suspect he has been living outside/farm/traveller site. He doesn't know how to play with toys but has been very good with my other dogs, he is very calm and gentle if not a little nervous because of the strange situation. I have looked at all the missing collies on this site and can't find one that matches, Hogey is much older and neutered and Bobbie has far more white on him. I will phone around local vets and kennels in the morning then if he is a local dog gone wandering they should track him down easily.

Found Curtis Mill Lane area nr Stapleford Abbotts, Essex. Quite dirty and smelly, possibly a farm dog. Finder did try all local farms to no avail, and dog didn't seem to know the area. M25 not far so could have been dumped. Entire dog, bit nervous but friendly otherwise. No chip, tag or collar.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
