- regarding Ellas comment here about contact numbers i agree. if i find a dog i can phone if there is a number listed on doglost - if no number must decide if i can take dog home or to a vet if i know one local to the dog found and if its open at the time of finding the dog.............. if its possible and convenient to finder to pick dog up and go home with it then ring doglost/dog warden/vet or owner if dog has id tag. otherwise i email admin@doglost etc etc as u can find a dog anywhere in any situation and the dog could be just scared or it could be injured or terrified and u r unable to get it without an owners contact number what to do?

- Reunited but I think you should have an option to put your phone number on and just warn re scam calls or to be honest its pretty pointless putting on dog lost now
