Thank you Karen and I entirely agree the poor dog needs finding especially given the area, I was unsure as I was a bit confused reading the post. I just thought it was more a sighted/spotted only post rather than lost seeing no-one could let you have a description of the dog which if it had been an owner reporting you'd expect them to know.
Good news the local trapping team are involved and I hope they are successful. I thought sighted/spotted animals were still searched for if considered at risk. My mistake.
I hope the team are successful in locating this poor dog and getting them to safety xxx

Marbie - we have listed the dog as lost so that alerts can be sent out to locals and sightings can be called into associated number of we can be alerted. The information we had is what has been put here as it was called into a member of a local trapping team who are now trying to locate the dog.
If listed as Found, nobody would be looking for it, yet it is loose/unsafe at the moment.
It may well have been left/pushed, but the thought behind this page and the social media posts is that there is a dog out there that is too close to a main road and needs getting to safety and that is what LDRS are working towards
Thank you
Marbie
This says the dog jumped from the car (or was it pushed?) and the car drove off??? I hope it's found and safe but sounds more like a found rather than lost and highly likely abandoned unless the write up is not very accurate.

Oh no. Poor thing. Did it just escape or was it dumped? Hoping this dog is found safe and soon. xxx
