- You'll be getting a lot of advice later but for now leave ahis cat tray or bed in a sheltered spot outside, hang unwashed laundry on your line and empty the vacuum contents in the garden if you have these. They all provide a familiar smell to lead him home. Given he has been missing for over a week he may have been locked in somewhere ie a shed or garage if anyone has been gardening etc so knock, posted and walk around at night when it's quiet calling his name. I really hope you get him back safely very soon xxx
