Welcome home Gem, lovely girl.   I see she has tatooed ears which I'm quite sure is as good if not better than a chip, so she is well taken care of in that direction.   Stay safe now Gem, it's much better at home xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am very pleased to announce that our little Gem has now been re united with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just making a cup of tea before we went off to bed and I could hear the gravel go on the drive. It didn't seem heavy enough to be a human so thinking that I was 'just being silly', I opened the back door.. and there she was poking her wet little head through the gates! It felt like an absolute miracle! It still does! We had only just been distrubuting posters (thanks to DL) around the surrounding villages, so we think she may have been dropped off in our village as her breath smelt of dentstix but there was no one about? Anyway, we are just sooooooo pleased to have her back with us now, and hope and prey this is the last time you see her featured as 'Lost' on doglost. co.uk. Many thanks, and all the best.xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just seen posted on alfies lost dogs, found 6 July 09, black greyhound, female, picture, but found dog does seems to have white chest and up neck and under mouth, found in Durham.  difficult to see on gems picture her white chest? think the found dog has too much white? sorry if i have raised any false hopes but had to post on her page just in case..Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner rang me, but I was in work and could not talk too long, advised they contact Admin to move her page into the Dogs Lost again.  Gem went missing from the garden, they have contacted the DW etc and have been out looking for her. Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 above  Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Feel so lucky to have her back! She means the absolute world to us! She was reunited with us on Saturday 13th. The lady who found her had her scanned pretty quickly to see if she had been chipped, so it just goes to show that its worth having it done! Good luck to everyone involved with this website in reuniting lost dogs with owners, keep up the good work! x xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
