So glad pebbles is back, it is bad enough losing a dog at home, but it must be a nightmare to loose them on holiday. Welcome back Pebbles.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pebbles must have been hiding out quite nearby all the time as she was seen to night nearby the caravan park and then gave herself up!! Im so thrilled . Huge thanks here to Lord Apsley and his team. They really did go the extra mile in helping Ian, Pebbles owner.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

She has been found!!!!!!!!
Owner has her safe and sound seems she came out of hiding when all the Polo folks went home and the Park went quite ...more details later when Mollychops catches her breath, but must thank Lord Apsley and the Park Manager for being absolute stars without their help this girlie would not have been found so quickly!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Many parts of the park  ’Bathhurst Estate’ are private, if anyone is thinking of helping to search by horse back not in the public area then please call this number first  01285 640410 which is the estate office, to seek permisssion.
Thanks

Have just got back from driving around with Pebbles owner postering all surrounding villages and houses to the park, spoke to lots of people, who were all really helpful and will keep an eye open.  Dropped posters off at Riding stables as they all go in the park, and in quiet out of the way places.  The public walking area is only at the Cirencester end, where Pebbles went from. Owner has permission to drive around wherever he wants , he is going back again this afternoon, and tonight when its quiet to listen out for her Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have alerted some people I know who live relatively close by and they are going to go over and look too (with their dogs) as well as poster in the local area. How very worrying for the new owners.  Fingers crossed she shows up soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pebbles and her owners are on a caravanning holiday in Cirencester Park she got spooked and ran away into the park, which is 15.000 acres of woodland and arable.. .she was on the run apparantly for a long time before she was rehomed with her owner. She will not know the area.Owner has contacted the park wardens etc.  Im going to get on the phone tonight to all people I know who live in and around the park.   She has an unusually spotty coat so should be quite distictive, is colllared and chipped , a bonus.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Aparrantly she is a very quiet dog, not a barker or whinger which really wories me if she is stuck somewhereLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
