I'm so very pleased to hear that this beautiful young girl is back home. You must be so relieved. Poor Willow, she must have been so scared - our Milly (also a Rottie) is also very nervous of storms, loud bangs and fireworks. So many people think that because of their breed, they're not easily frightened or spooked but we have always found the reverse to be the case. It's lovely to think of her being back at home - warm, dry and cosy with the security of her family and doggy companions.
P.S. A huge WELL DONE to the caring paper girl who was kind enough to take the time and effort to reunite Willow with her worried family. It's always lovely to hear things like this in this day and age!

GOOD NEWS ... she has been found by the paper girl, miles away from home.  She has brought her home, we are drying her out now and although she is a little scared, she is very grateful to be home.  Thank you for all your advice.

We are also taking our other Rotti and our Jack Russell to see if familiar scents of them will help.  She is also missing a toe on one of her back feet for identification purposes.

Thanks for all the advice Jo.  I have been on to the chip people today, unfortunately its registered to the rescue people we got her from (its their policy to keep ownership of the chip).  I have rung them and hopefully they will flag her as missing today.  We are off out now again with our scenting in hand and hopefully see some sight of her.  We have only had one extra sighting, running through a local dairy farm.  Will keep you informed.

Photo's of lovely Willow now on site. She has a full tail. No updates yet unfortunately, owner will keep us posted. The weather has calmed down a bit this way now so hopefully Willow will emerge soon and someone will find her and owners will receive that call they are waiting for.

Spoke to Willow's owner briefly earlier as I was out at agility. Have now emailed further info and also scenting guidelines. Requested photo and area in Colchester too.
