Email in Admin from helper: Hi, I have been helping in the search for Tilly, could you please post the following message of congratulations for me. I am so pleased that you have your Tilly back home safe with you. I have been so worried about her this week.   I spoken to the owners on the phone earlier and made them laugh when i told them that i was at my brothers wedding on friday and took a spare lead in my handbag just incase i saw Tilly along the way!! If found i would have had to bring her along as a plus 1 guest !!    Thank you so much again for letting me know that she is safe and again CONGRATULATIONS. I hope you all have a lovely peaceful sleep tonight and i hope Tilly stays safe from now on.   Lots of love and good wishes for you and Tilly. Adele xxx   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have not long spoken to one happy owner. Tilly was being looked after by a family who when seening the paid advert in the Widnes World contacted her owners.  They did not realise that they should have reported her found to the DW etc, I did say this to Tilly's owner this is very often the case.  The family have really fell in love with Tilly and her owner's are going to help them find a rescue dog as they do not have transport.  Have give some advice of local places to try.  Tilly may also be getting a playmate soon.  Hopefully we will be getting a reunited photo. While the family were picking Tilly up and had her in the car someone who had seen a poster said she looked like the missing dog, owners had pleasure in notifying them it was Tilly etc.   Owners will now be staying on DL as helpers and also spreading the word, which is great news. So pleased to see Tilly back with her family they have worked so hard looking for her.  Welcome home Tilly.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for the email alert Yasa, LOL just checked my phone and I've had missed calls from owner's; my phone was on silent.  I'll ring them back now.  Looks like another one down to getting her face known everywhere.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tilly's Owners
Dear Dogs Lost
We received a phone call earlier today from a lovely family saying that they had our little dog.
Tilly had been found earlier in the week wondering around their back garden, so they took her in, bought her some food and toys and looked after her.
The call came through this lunch time, I was in work, we both drove around to the house, as the door opened Tilly bolted towards us.
We are so happy she is back home, she is currently playing with toys and nibbling biscuits. Smiles are back on our faces and the phone has not stopped.
Now we can all get a good nights sleep.
xxx

Hi could you please post the following message. I still am unable to add my own post :(
I searched locally yesterday for Tilly, checked local industrial areas and what waste ground i could access. I am thinking it may be worth you taking posters to the college? That is quite near to where she went missing from, has some sheltered areas, and there are always lots and lots of people around that area (especially at lunch time) so may be worth asking around there. The take away's off Kingsway are also worth trying, lots of food scraps left lying around after nights out!! I did try them yesterday but they were not open yet as it was quite early morning. Also widnes leisure centre is always very busy so that may be worth a shot too. Unfortunately i am out all afternoon (my brothers wedding) and so i am unable to do anything practical today.  Will still keep my eyes peeled and fingers crossed that she is home safe very soon. You have my number if you need me. Adele x

http://www.lostdogsyorkshire.com/apps/photos/album.jsp?albumID=693608 Thanks sharonblue57 for cross checking for Tilly.  I've looked at the page if it is the dog above the BC near the bottom that one is smoother coated and white markings look different.  If it is the one right hand top side under JRT that looks different as well but owner will check them out as well.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We've printed a small amount of leaflets and we're hoping to get them delivered on Friday. We'll print some more and get as much coverage out there as we can. In the meantime i'm printing A3 posters in work tomorrow that Jan very kindly put together for us. We'll be putting these up locally and in community centres and other public places. Keep your eyes open for our little girl everyone!

Thanks Adele, she has gone missing from the Mottershead Road, area in Widnes, she may have been spooked by the thunderstorm. Have received some photo/s now will upload a.s.a.p.  Spoke to her owner while I was at the RSPCA this morning.  I have asked the kennels but there is nothing recorded, but have advised owner to have a look around themselves.  She may not be recorded as a Patterdale Cross.  Jan x   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to one of Tilly's owner, they had problems downloading a photo, when other owner gets home I'll speak to them and sort a photo out.  They are doing the right things, started postering I am going to Halewood shortly to see Teeco be REUNITED with his family so will check if there are any matches.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If picked up she could go to Halewood RSPCA, I was in there yesterday afternoon (as it is past midnight now) and there are a few Patterdale types in the kennels, we really need a photo a.s.a.p.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

00.10 a.m.  Tilly's owners, sorry to see Tilly is missing.  Thanks for registering on DL and adding her details, we will do all we can to help you in your search.   Can you upload photo/s or email to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 18752) any problems with a photo let us know.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Great she is chipped if not already please contact the Chip Co and report her missing and check your details are up to date.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting   Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is  found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
