So pleased she is home.  I was going to alert some more people tomorrow, so I'll stand down red alert.

Ruby is back home but circumstances of her return are currently unknown .  My nail technician had passed Doglost details onto her friend ( Rubys owner) when she went missing as she now knows all about Doglost :-)0 and I left a pile of cards in the salon. Just before I left this afternoon she checked on owners Facebook page and it said Ruby was back.   Brilliant news and so glad this girl is back with her ownerLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rang owner but no reply so left message.  Will email more info regarding contact details.       Craven council (Skipton area ) would be another  dog warden to check and  they use Mosside Kennels at Cowling,  West Yorkshire     01535 637043 There is the large leisure centre on the main road  Keighley, and the rugby club opposite which would be good places to poster.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

My husband has just told me he is going to do some leafleting tomorrow, and Exley Head is one of the areas he had planned to do, so he'll go there (weather permitting, lol) and keep an eye out.

Fleet Kennels is probably the nearest kennels here.  Or maybe she'll go to the RSPCA at Bradford (Mount St) though there are rumours that there is an RSPCA kennels in Keighley at Long Lee I think, though I've never found them, or a number for them.  (Maybe a private kennels where they rent some space).
My husband is a driving instructor and he will look out for her as he's out and about.  And I'll put a sign up in our office (Haworth).  I assume owner has phoned the Keighley vets? - Airedale on Devonshire St and Aireworth Vets on the bypass?
Nicky Nutton in Keighley Pet Stores in the Market is usually pretty good at displaying a poster too.
Sorry I can't do much else for a day or so, but I'll spread the word to local contacts.

Need to inform the dog warden and the stray kennels that they use (not sure which ones for Keighley). If the garden is secure, and therefore she has been stolen, need to inform police and obtain a crime number. This is very important if there is any dispute later about who owns the dog, especially as not microchipped. The most important thing is to get as many posters as possible up in the local area so everyone knows she is missing. The more people who know, the more that are on the lookout for her. Also get in touch with local vets in case someone takes her in. Jolleys pet shop will let you put up a poster for free, and there are a couple of pet stalls in the market. Also a fairly new pet shop near the market on the same road as Sainsburys petrol station (opposite side of road near a jewellers).Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have updated some of the info and sent a text to owner requesting the rest that is still missing.  The area could possibly be Halifax and Region NE.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
