- My best guess here is that someone is feeding Milo. Also assume you have checked with vets; animal rescue centres too, as sometimes a microchip can slip. Paws xd.,

- That`s good he is neutered, as cats that have been "Done" don`t tend to go too far as a rule. Assume you have checked several times in outbuildings? A cat owner I know searched a shed FOUR times before finding her cat hiding in a cupboard within the building. When cats go awol it`1s either they are bein fed by others, or trapped somewhere. Although sometimes a person will take a fancy to someone`s cat, and try to hide it in their house. It has happened on this site, and to my nephew too; they even had the audacity to change his microchip, even though he had id on him; both cats reunited. so stay vigilant: just in case. xLast edited: 2023-11-01 08:21:50 by TrudielovesMax!

- Milo is neutered.

- If Milo isn`t neutered he may have gone seeking a mate, and become lost, and disorientated. Check all outbuilding including empty houses, and cellars. Check numerous times as cars can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very small spaces; about 2"/3" wide, so has he managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Check trees too. Pace his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. Cats can smell from quite a distance away. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem). Is there a Mr Big in the area? (Dominant cat) As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until the think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd that Milo will be reunited very soon.
