Welcome home Boddington one lucky boy and owner, without the kind dedication of others this dog would most probably not have made it home!
There must be a connection with the two areas concerned, any findings on that subject should perhaps be passed on to Police otherwise dog thefts will continue and hearts will be broken .
Please do get all dogs chipped it does not stop them from being stolen but proves identification and rightful ownership.

I dont post very often but watch with amazement the work done by this site. To have a dog reunited this way is truley an act of great team work. I hope the owner realises how lucky they have been to get this dog back and gives that it hope to many others out there. maybe the reward money will go to help doglost help others??Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Boddington is safe!  By a process of great team work between a Dog Warden and a Sighthound Rescue Boddington has been identified................he was the other end of the country!  The chances of getting back a dog who was not chipped and had no ID tag on, who was found at the other end of the country have got to be a MILLION TO ONE!!!!!  Owner is going to drive to collect him tomorrow - You are one VERY lucky owner, and he is an EXTREMELY lucky dog! I hope this gives hope to everyone else who is out there looking............keep the faith xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Another long shot as its a totally different area but could be worth checking.  Male lurcher, brindle with white throat/chest in the Wirral Council Kennels, doesnt say how old it is but looks like it could be an adult.  Might be worth a look though just in case.  www.wirraldogs.co.uk under reference: 209015206. Boddington ran out of stable yard, following owners car, another car was heard to stop and car door open and close, so possibility here he has been picked up.  Owners have contacted all dog wardsens as on a boundary here., and will do so on a daily basis, along with rescues in area.  Ive suggested OBH hunt, and all local farmers. Police informed, Once owners son is home he will get a pic onto site,   and do posters.,ive explained how the site works and will email owners further advice.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
