Absolutely wonderful news, So pleased for you. As MISS KITTEN wasn`t hungry, someone may have been feeding her. Also when cats are trapped in an outbuilding. they will tend to lick on a relevant object to keep themselves hydrated; such as a freezer lid. I would keep her in now for a couple of days, in case she goes awol again. Stay close now MISS KITTTEN :-) xxxxxx

After lovely neighbours also went out searching and knocking on doors and asking had anyone seen my mums missing cat amazingly Miss Kitty returned home at around 3:30am this morning.

I guess we will never know where she's been since Saturday or what happened. She was dry despite all the heavy rain and wasn’t dehydrated or hungry so I’m guessing she’s been locked in somewhere, maybe someone’s house?

Mums over the moon to have Miss Kitty back and I’m so relieved as mum wasn’t eating or sleeping with the worry.

Thank you everyone for your support and advice.

Sometimes a microchip can slip, and a cat may lose it`s collar, thus it is possible that someone has taken her in thinking she is a stray; early days yet. All xd.,Last edited: 2023-11-13 19:36:44 by TrudielovesMax!

When cats o awol it`s either they are being fed by others, or are trapped in some outbuilding. Neutered cats, especially females don`t tend to wander too far. Ask your Mom when she is searching to wear the same deodorant/perfume day she uses on a day to day basis as she will recognize the scent, and your Mom is the one she trusts, Just because you don`t see a cat, doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Paws, and fingers xd.

Thank you for the advice my mum is 85 and has been out in the rain searching for her little cat and not sleeping with the worry.

When checking outbuildings do numerous checks as cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. walk around the area taking with you an object with her scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding her (Common problem) Poster around the area, and post through doors too. With cats it`s all about scent, and cats can smell from quite a distance away. Hope MISS KITTEN will be reunited very soon. Paws xd.
