Ernie is safely home.
Cornwall Search Dogs attended & picked up a scent. Ernie came out of hiding some distance away, but went on the run. He was spotted in a nearby field, but wouldn't come to owner & ran off again (despite owner following advice of stop & drop).
He ran onto a road & traffic stopped, he was thankfully caught safely & reunited.

Cornwall Search Dogs team are in touch with owner today to assist in a search, as there have been no sightings since late yesterday afternoon.
Scenting advice has been given & posters are being prepared.
A drone has been suggested.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.
