Hi there i have recently lost my staffy and Hazel from dog lost was great at giving advice and helped get my dog back and helping me from going mad, i found that by getting some sheets of timber board and getting a paint brush with some white gloss out and make some high vis sign boards and put them in your village or street and along any main roads i had 12 sightings within a few hours of getting the sign boards out make sure you speak to all public meeting points to spread the word, post office, butcher, doctors surgery, petrol stations I put ..............lost dog - name of my village .........any news or info pls call ...................reward .............get as many boards out as you can asap and have one outside ya front garden dont give up spread the word call ya friends and family x Hope you find soon x Kieron

Hi Yvonne I will be displaying posters of all miising dogs from Lincolnshire at the Bullies-In -Need show being held at Theddlethorpe on 2nd August. If you can find a more up to date photo of Sophie before then it would be much appreciated.

Welcome on board DogLost Yvonne. Thank you for your comment which clarifies the age of Sophie in her pics. Sounds like you are doing a good job with trying to find her. The more publicity the better but if you do manage to dig up another photo which is more up to date it would really help. She looks a real sweetheart. I do hope you get her back soon.

Oh no, poor little Sophie!  My Staffy's 10, and I know I'd be devestated if she went missing!  I really hope Sophie is back home with her family very soon!  Best of luck finding her.  xx

hi all we have phoned everyone who we think may need to know, vets ,pounds, police, council, posters . sophies picture that you have was taken 5 yrs ago so she will now have  grey hairs around her face, thanks for your help in looking for her we are very greatful.Regards Yvonne

Have received a couple of really old photos by mobile phone, which I have uploaded, but they were taken when Sophie was young and had pups. She is quite elderly now, but at least we can see what a very dark brindle colour she is. Will try to get some more up to date pics soon.

Had reason to contact owner due to possible match, which unfortunately was not Sophie this time. However some additional information which I have updated above and also added mobile number- Sophie is dark brindle in colour and does not have any white on her face to match her white bib. She does have a distinguishing feature on her body, for identification. Owners are very actively searching for Sophie and visiting pounds and rescues every day. There is also another dog at home pining for Sophie, and needs her back desperately. We should hopefuly get a photo soon. There may be a poor quality one on a mobile, which can be sent through, but hopefuly may have some once house move is complete, and photos are unpacked.

Is that Sophie on the Skegness council lost dogs? Have you tried the police and the tourist information? They might put a poster up for you. Good luck.
