- Great news. Yu are right, he has most likely been shut in some outbuilding. This is why it`s always best to check, garages, greenhouses etc NUMEROUS times. Cats when trapped can stay veery quiet, as they are prone to feel very anxious. Stay close now GREY ORIRNTAL CAT:-) xxxLast edited: 2023-11-24 19:46:01 by TrudielovesMax!

- Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars thoroughly as cats can hide within a building, and stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it, so check numerous times. Place his UNWASHED blanket (Bedding) into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. DO NOT leave his litter tray outside, as other cats may use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Assume trees; etc checked? Is there a Mr Big in the area? (Dominant cat) Ass sometimes they will chase a less dominant cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until the think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Take good walks around the area holding an object with his scent, and rattle some Dreames. Someone may be feeding Oriental Cat. (Common problem) Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Sometime too a pers on will take a fancy to someone`s cat, and try to hide it in their house; it happened to a relative of mine, and also on this site, so stay vigilant; just in case.
