Spoke to an RDR Co-ordinator today who were included in the emailing out last night of posters and information.  RDR do deal with a Rescue in the Chorley area.  Jan x

22.45 p.m.  Thanks for the phone call dengaz and posting an update.  As discussed contact the Chorley DW and the kennels the DW uses on the numbers I've given you.  I'll also email the kennels the poster of Jack.  Hope this person gets back in touch with you.  Good luck.  Jan x

I have today received a phone call from a gent who advised me he had recently bought a dog similar to Jack from a place in Chorley. He advised me he didnt know the age of the dog, he said he had viewed the details on here. i asked him to send me some pictures via mobile phone however i have yet to receive any, unfortunatley i didnt take the gents telephone number, so please if you are the gent who called me today and your reading this, please get in contact again. If you do have Jack, we are prepared to pay you whatever youve bought him for. We have had JAck since a pup and he is a family pet, we are desperate to get him back. Please call again.

00.05  Various size posters now done and emailed to owner (with further advice/info), rescues AIN, Dog's Trust (Huyton), Leigh C&D Home, Rochdale Rescue, Cheshire Dogs Home, Phoenix Dog Rescue, RDR, Freshfield Rescue, RSPCA's (Halewood & Wirral), Wirral Pound, Merseyside Pet Ambulance, West Lancs DT, Lpool Boarding Kennels, NW Co-ordinators and local helpers.  Once the posters start getting circulated fingers crossed someone recognises him. Spoke to owner tonight for an update and had a long chat with them.  There have been no sightings of Jack, he has wandered before but knows the area and has returned.  He may have got through a gap in the fence.  Jack was being looked after by a relative when he went missing as owner's were on holiday.  Owners have not done any posters.    It has been a while since he has gone missing but he could have been picked up and not reported to the DW.  I've explained to owner dogs are only kept for 7 days if handed into authorities and if rehomed he would be the property of his new owner. Owners are going to check rescues etc and see if records can be checked back.  I will do various size posters and also email further advice/info.  Owner's have sent another photo of Jack which is now uploaded, also second mobile number added.  Jan x
