- Have been alerted to a found cat on the ongoing NW share post I do and regularly update. Sent details to MILO’s owner to confirm is not MILO. I’ve updated the photos now add added a group one to help any cross matching and show markings. Keeping everything crossed MILO’s chip is scanned and Debs gets that most important call.
Thank you to everyone who is looking out for him and checking against found cats. - 2024-01-02 20:52 Tallula
- I'm sure you have probably already done this but if not please go around your neighbours houses and ask if they will open their garage doors, sheds etc in front of you and be really pushy about it. Cats tend to stay within their own areas and not too far from home. 14th December people were putting up Xmas decorations and they could have gone into these places to get their decs out. Please try it and be insistent. Good Luck.

- Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars in case trapped. Do numerous checks as cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines ("Elasticate") so they can squeeze into very small spaces (About 2"/3" wide) So has Milo managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can b e more difficult; it depends on the drop., Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. DO NOT leave his litter tray outside, as other cats may use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Take good walks around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamnies. Someone may be feeding Milo (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy too/ Is there a Mr, Bog in the area> (Dominant cat) As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too; where, and where, and when you can. Hope Milo will be reunited very soon. Paws, and fingers xd.
