Yippeee! I am so very relieved Ellie has been found and is now back where she belongs. It must be even more awful than it already is to have a missing dog her age as they need special care, I felt very worried for her welbeing myself! I was reunited with my own stolen Pom nearly two weeks ago now and they are such happy-go-lucky hardy dogs I'm sure Ellie will recover in no time from her ordeal. Welcome home little Ellie, stay safe now!! Amy xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A BIG WELCOME HOME SWEET LITTLE ELLIE!!  And well done to her loving family for all their hard work.  We spoke today on my mobile and her Mum says it was posters and flyers which brought Ellie home to them.  The person who had taken her in saw the posters and returned her.  Now she is back on her medicine and diet we hope her health will be back to normal again.  Thank you for offering to help us find other lost dogs in the future Callie, your help will be really appreciated.  I know you will get lots of cuddles now Ellie.  I add my hug for you here oo - you have certainly melted my heart and brought back happy memories of my special little Pom too! Take great care and get well soon.  xxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Many many congratulations callie and well done for all the hard work all of you, including Jacqui. What a happy relief it must be, and I understand from Jacqui the vet said she would be ok now back on her meds. Thank goodness for the posters once again. Welcome home dear Ellie. You will be spoilt rotten now, I'm sure. xxx Jacqui out at the moment but will post later I'm sure. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner received a call this morning to say ELLIE WAS SIGHTED ON SUNDAY MORNING. She was going towards the shop & Old Odeon nr the main Woodbridge Rd in Ipswich where she turned left up the hill.  At least her family know which way she went and are fairly sure she would have been picked up as she is so friendly.  If anyone else saw her or has seen her since, please contact owner immediately.  Sunday was Music In The Park Day so very busy in Ipswich that day.  Area has been heavily postered and also houses.  Really hope this is a good sign and Ellie will be home where she needs to be, very soon.  Her family are working so hard to get her home. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A4 poster and flyers have now been updated with the above and emailed to owner and co-ordinators Suffolk. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you everyone. Poor little Ellie is partly blind and deaf and is on urgent medication.  I have sent owner amended Posters and Flyers to include this which they will put up around area and through doors. I also asked James Hazell to mention Ellie on Radio Suffolk, which he did this morning with owner's no. and DogLost website.  Thank you so much James.  Owners need to keep smelly food out in case Ellie smells her way back - pilchards can be smelt a long way (despite her special diet which hopefully she can get back to a.s.a.p.). There are pubs and schools in area so ask them to display Posters. If anyone knows of Ellie's whereabouts, it is urgent that she is back home quickly. xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am so sorry lovely little Ellie has gone missing.  Have spoken briefly to owner and will call again in the morning. Thank you for posters and flyers Yasa which I have sent on to owner and local Rescue Kennels. Owners need to call Pampered Pets, Hacheston 01728 747760, West End Kennels, Buxhall 01449 737641 regularly as Ellie would be taken to one of these if she is taken in by Dog Warden.  Also Kembrook Kennels 01394 448201 who take in dogs out of hours. Owners also need to get Flyers through all local doors and get Posters up around area a.s.a.p. so people will look out for her and hopefully someone will get her home quickly. I am sending advice sheets re Postering etc. to owners. Stay safe little lady till you are found. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Briefly spoken to owner to help with registering the details and explained how to upload a photo.  It was another family member who has registered Ellie on DL.  Photo should be uploaded shortly any problems they will email photo to us.  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
