Very emotional call from owner of Chip today.  He is home, very tired, thin but OK.  He was found wandering along a lane all on his own 8 miles away from where he went from.  Kind lady saw how exhausted he looked, stopped her car and he got in.  She then saw the poster owners hubby put up last night after advice on heavier postering. So yet again poster power works!!!!  Donation will be winging its way to doglost shortly, welcome home, back where you belong.  Lovely end.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to owner at length and given advice.  This dog is elderly but very friendly.  Photo on its way.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Info came in via email - Chip, a plump and elderly collie took fright in his master's yard at Sky End Lane, Hordle, slipped his collar and took off.  He has a massive black and white coat, and no top front teeth.  He is new to the area, being a rescue, but he is micro-chipped.  Needless to say his owner is frantic, especially with him out there in all this heat.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
