- Email from owner in Admin, great to see her going into the BLUE thanks for letting us know: For some reason I cannot work out how to comment directly to Tilly's page or how to change her status. Perhaps because I am so excited!!! Yes, you guessed it, Tilly was returned to us today, safe, happy and well. She looks as if she was been well looked after for a week and she was found making her way from Barwick to Scholes but a kind lady who stopped and picked her up. This good Samaritan then phoned the police who said they had no record of a missing dog and so she contacted one of her friend's who luckily worked for the RSPCA and she scanned Tilly and we got the phone call we have been dreaming of for the last week. Although we will probably never know for sure what happened we think that moments after Tilly ran through a hedge she was 'rescued' by a lady who lived in Barwick and kept for a week before running off again and trying to make her way home. I hope this happy ending encourages other owners not to give up hope and thank you so much DogLost for all your advice and support. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Dear Golden Frodo Thank you for your comment about Tilly in which you mentioned your friend in Barwick in Elmet. We have been told today that a lady with black and tan sausage dog was seen walking towards Barwick on Saturday about an hour after Tilly vanished with a small brown dog that just looked liked Tilly under her arm. Could you ask your friend if she knows a lady with black and brown sausage dog? We obviously do not want to cause any trouble but this is the first lead we have had and now we are trying everything to track this lady down and find out if it was Tilly. Thanks again to everyone at DogLost. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I have spoken with Tilly's owners and there has been no word of her at all since she ran off. She is a very friendly little dog and when she ran off she was very near to her home. Her owners feel someone may be trying to keep her. They have informed the dog warden, have stray kennel details and have been postering. I have suggested they continue to poster really poster heavily to raise the maximum public awareness they can. Hoping to see Tilly back home again ASAP Pam xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Owners I am so sorry to see Tilly has gone missing. I have left a message on your mobile. Please inform local dog wardens and stray kennels that Tilly is missing and keep checking back with them. Also inform your chipping company that she is missing and check that the contact details they have for you are up to date. Poster as much as you can to raise all the public awareness possible. Hoping to see Tilly back home very soon Pam xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
