- At Valgrays we have taken in a small lurcher type from a Surrey pound, not sure if she is Thea as the one we have is only around 18-19 inches ... here is her picture .. if owner thinks its her .. please contact Valgrays, she is currently up for homing.

- Thank you so much everybody. I have been in touch with Hersham Hounds but am sending them a leaflet with pictures etc. I will also take some leaflets to Wimbledon Greyhound track to distribute. I have done vets throughout Surrey, pet shops, animal rescues, local paper, Putney crematorium, Asda, and many surrounding houses so the word is out there. The problem is sightings, the fact that she is even thin, very very quick, and terrified of dogs and people. I suspect that she would now run from me and my dogs as from everyone else. However any sightings do help to pinpoint her area of activity and this is the MOST helpful thing to have now. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thea's owner came into the Ranger's Office this afternoon and there was apparently another sighting of Thea recently on Stag Ride near the Cemetery. We have allowed some more posters to go up in the area so hopefully there will be a positive outcome..

- Can somebody visit Wimbledon Dog track, Greyhound people tend to be lurcher & whippy people too. Any news of a lost whipp will go round there like a flash. Poster on racing night , Tues, Fri & Sat 6.30 to 7.30 are the best times to hand out flyers. While there speak to the General manager Keith Hallinan and see if he can put up a poster in the bars and resturant.
Has anyone informed Hersham Hounds

- Second photo of Thea received and uploaded. She certainly has very upright ears bless her. You are all doing a grand job by the sounds of things. She could still be hiding up, in the area. I do hope you get a new sighting soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thank you Peter. I have just spoken with Thea's owner & you have all been doing a brilliant job getting word about with posters, phone calls, emails to all the authorities etc. I am going to send some info sheets as well as scenting instructions. Good luck tomorrow. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- There is to be a mass leaflet handout on Sunday 12 July at the Wimbledon Common Open Day. Thea has now not been seen for some time, so the concern is that a) she has gone to 'ground', b) is very wary of human contact or c) that someone has taken her in (as a stray) and not either phoned the number on her collar or reported her to the police. I am helping all I can and can be phoned if there is any more information on her. 07505 138 111. PeterLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
