I am sooooooooooooo pleased to see Harry home safe and sound, I do agree with you there are some lovely people around to help look. I luckily have never lost a dog and hope i don"t , i cannot image how i would feel, but have helped look for other peoples dogs and seen the pain they go through.Enjoy lots of cuddles with Harry. x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just had e mail and talk to owner susan this is what she said: Harry is home. He was in a barn at Stoney Stoke near Knoyle Rock. My friend owns this property and I spoke to her this morning about Harry and emphasized how important it was that everyone should keep away from him if they saw him. Ten minutes later she phoned to say that he was in her barn. I arrived and walked quietly up to the barn and staying outside gently called him, he crept up to me and almost jumped into my arms. He is extremely thin but happy, lots of tail wagging on the way home.Thank you for all your helpful advice, you have been great and please let me be of any help to anyone who loses their dog. I  This trauma has had a bright side, it makes us realise just how many good people out there willing to help and caring about the situation.   Best wishes from Susan   All will be sleeping well tonight.  Welcome home Harry.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Moochi.  Are there any local helpers who can assist here?  As spindle says Harry shouldn't be approached but pairs of eyes to help with sightings would be appreciated. Harry has been circulated on several sighthound forums, so word is spreading.  I have emailed owner................do you need a trap?  if so please get in touch.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bumped up due to sightings this morning not far from Wincanton. Spoke in depth tonight to owner given advice on what to do next.  This dog is NOT to be approached by anyone but owners family, will run from strangers.  Come on Harry we need you back home now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have uploaded Harrys picture and details on to the GRWE website, so hopefully local people will spread the word and keep their eyes peeled.  Is there any news on him?  Have you checked with the local kennels??Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
