- One year ago 8th Feb, this day my life changed forever, my world turned upside down ! You went missing, I didnt even know you had gone. The night before you fell asleep in my arms and when I woke you weren’t there ! We have searched high and low for you baby boy. Thermal drones, tracker dogs, thermal scopes, ground searching, finger tip searches, radio advertising, leafleting for and miles and miles. Facebook posts, 1000”s of people searching for you ! yet nothing ! How can we not find you? I cannot explain the pain I feel in each moment of each day not knowing where you are and if you’re ok? I have never felt pain so deeply. I’m so sorry sparkie mummy didn’t mean for any of this to happen. For those that don’t know we were living in temporary accommodation at the time and Sparkie was accidentally locked out. Not by me. Each day I pray that one day someone will come forward and reunite you with our family. I believe there is humanity in this world. The help and support I have been given over the past twelve months shows this. People taking time out of their own lives to search, people visiting from other countries searching for my boy, donations, banners, thousands of leaflets posted by people I don’t even know. The support to our family searching to find sparkie. I can’t thank each and everyone of you enough. The dog charity’s, the drone pilots, local business, councillors, and all of those that have joined Sparkies page. Thank you to you all. Please keep searching for our baby boy. Please keep sharing, joining, help me find my tini tiny boy. #broken

If you find a lost dog, by law, you must report them to the local animal warden, you can still take Sparkie to any vets to have his microchip registration checked.

- Sarah on Sparkie’s FB group:
I sit here and wonder where you are, if you are ok? I’ve never felt a feeling like this. I struggle to keep myself together not knowing anything. The grief I feel is indescribable and i don’t know how to cope without you my darling boy. I cry everyday and think a thousand thoughts. I hold onto hope that one day I will find you. I’ll never stop searching for you baby boy 💔
It’s coming up to Sparkie’s unhappy anniversary as he has been missing for one year on the 8th February. Has someone you know got a dog who looks like Sparkie? Please take him to any vet’s and have his microchip registration checked to get him home. - 2024-06-02 09:21 VetsGetScanning

- (I believe that owner has checked this one already xx)
There is one for checking up North, Cliffe Kennels. Their FB page is 'Cliffe Kennels Strays' and their contact number is on the photo/post (unable to comment on their posts to ask whether a chip was detected).

- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (190354)
