loris thanks for what you have done for the FOUND. Day in day out we are all seeing plights of dogs needing a rescue space and it is so heartwarming when they do get a space and given a lifeline. Keeping everything crossed for this lucky boy when he starts his new life with the Rescue where he will get the care and love he deserves. Onwards and upwards for this boy now. 🥰

Hi Jayne... thanks for the update. I'm just sorry that the rescued dog is not Bueno. The rescue of this other dog, not Bueno, was made possible by a coming together of 100s of Cheshire East residents who basically I began a Facebook campaign on the group 'Lost and found pets in Macclesfield', where the borough where the lost sweetheart was originally found injured and scared on 26/1/25. Such a happy ending to what could've been a tragic death. He's not out of the woods, but in the best place he can be right now! Thank you for all that you've done to help this case get solved. I'M VERRY SORRY that this dog is not Bueno, I wish them the best at finding their sweetheart! Last edited: 2025-02-03 15:38:36 by loris

FANTASTIC to get an update a well known RESCUE will be giving the FOUND dog a lifeline and they are taking him in even though they are bursting at the seams. THANKS a MILLION to them. The FOUND is so lucky as so many have shown concern for him. Like all FOUND dogs who are not claimed they deserve a chance and so many don’t get this. Hats off to everyone involved in getting him SAFE and Acorn Kennels for letting him go with the Rescue who have been made aware of his behaviours while in the stray system. Wishing him a very happy future. ❤️

The dog that we have all seen is not Bueno

I was contacted by the pound pullers trying to save found dog, sent through to owners. Definitely not him, owners confirmed and there is no question
HelperSky's AngelsLouise
Is the owner even seeing these comments on his email? maybe he has lost his email account?. I'm not sure if Admin have a phone number for him either. How can he be contacted if he is not receiving these on email? is there another way of making contact with him?
loris
The next couple of days are very telling as to whether Acorn Kennels will put this dog down. Are you certain for 100% that this is not your Bueno? Even if it might be, or if you're not in a place where you can take him into your home, I know of several rescues that would like to rehome him. We even have someone who is willing from day one to take him in as a foster while the rescues find a home for him. The CATCH is that the kennel will only release him to the owner or someone who knows the owner. It could be a mate of yours if you can't go toe Whitchurch who could take him out of the building and one of our people would meet you to take him to his new home. THE kennel I think talked to someone, maybe you, and said he didn't look like Bueno because of the coloring that looks like a stripe down his face. Well, that is an INJURY, where he was in a fight and the hair has been removed. HE DESERVES to live. Will you please find it in your heart to reach out and make an effort to save this sweetheart's LIFE! Thank you
Cathy
Hello. I understand that kennels says the found dog is not this boy, but the picture shows an area of injury and I really do think there's a distinctive similarly. Could this owner contact the kennels and maybe arrange to see this dog, please?
HelperSky's AngelsLouise
MENA VIANA looks like it. Strangely no photos of Bueno, but tons of photos of puppies he has sold.
MENA VIANA
is this the owner? https://www.facebook.com/ramano.degisi - is he aware of this dog be at acorn kennels???
HelperSky's AngelsLouise
Why hasn't the owner been in touch to see if the found dog is theirs??
loris
This poor sweetheart that's been at Acorn Kennels since last Monday Jan 27th, after being found in Alderley Edge by someone trying to help this lost dog. This person took him to a vet in Macclesfield who didn't find a chip. The East Cheshire dog warden placed him at Acorn Kennels and I've been calling all week to find out his status to see if an owner has come forward. As of Wed no one had claimed him, and ever since they won't take my calls. They say they'll only give info to someone who is the owner. I know there are a few people in the rescue community working hard to try and find a home for him. If you can't reach them via phone, try their email info@acornkennels.com or phone 01948662931. The fact that they won't speak to me any longer makes me think the worst in store for this sweetheart. I've taken this as far as I can. The only one who can make the call whether this is the same dog is the owner, and he has to go to Acorn Kennels to make sure. He is the only home for this dog not to be put down now.Last edited: 2025-02-01 08:36:42 by loris

Without physically seeing the dog I can only go by what the kennels have said, they said the FOUND has white markings which BUENO does not have. We do advise not to go by photos alone or phone calls and owners to visit kennels. I did take into account the injury and there are similarities around the nose and eyes. Dogs can look much different as well when they have lost a lot of weight. It is down to his owner now to confirm if him or not but our hands are tied if they don’t reply or contact the kennels Every time a comment is made romanodegisi10 who registered the details should be getting a notification.

I did email the kennels again last night and they have replied today saying still not confident is BEUNO and owner would need to go in and identify him.

Not looking very good for him, poor lad will be another statistic of the dogs being left to go to Rainbow Bridge if not claimed. Rescues are bursting never known things to be so bad as what they are now with lots of dogs being abandoned.

Yes Jan thank you for the updates. The white mark on his forehead is an injury. Plus the photo here is a year old. If you consider that he’s likely had a year of living outside he’s probably lost a lot of weight as well. I’m not certain if this found dog is Bueno. Regardless, this sweet pup I hope will get rehomed. No dog deserves to be denied a chance to be adopted.Last edited: 2025-01-29 18:58:42 by loris

Jan, I think the white mark on the forehead of the found dog, is actually an injury to the dog and not a facial feature.
If the dog has not been well treated for a year the dog will appear very differently

Thank you Jan.

Thanks loris for cross checking and commenting.

Following up, have been in touch with the Stray Kennels where the found dog has been taken, have emailed details of BEUNO to them, also sent FOUND details on fb to them. Also sent an email to the registered email and msg to the contact number on this registration. Fingers crossed we get a reply from BUENO’s owner soon.🤞

Bueno has been spotted in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. He had an injury on his forehead. Someone has taken Bueno to a veternarian in Macclesfield, and today I'm going to call around to see if I can locate which one. When I find out I will post here. Please feel free to contact me for details. Lori
