- **** BUMPED DUE TO POSSIBLE SIGHTINGS **** Owner has had reports of possible sightings in LANCASTER, which are being followed up. Would be great if it was Lulu after all this time. I've updated various size posters. Good luck. Jan x

- Thanks again Jayne for keeping us updated. Sometimes is can take a few weeks for someone to see a poster in the right place, if you get any luck with the papers and something goes in email/text me and her page can be bumped up. Try the Merseymart and St Helens Star or whatever free paper you can find. You are doing a brilliant job in your search. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Jan The sightings were all approx 500 yards of each other on the night she went missing. Although nothing since... which leads me to believe that she has been taken in by a local...! Can't move in Knowsley without seeing her poster. Also sent the Echo a report hopefully targetting on her being a working dog and not an ordinary pet, therefore appealing that she needs specialist attention etc... which hope will help...Will let you know if they publish... Been doing the rounds on the phones too to usual orgs.. but nothing phoned in or collected so definately think she been picked up and taken in..Thanks again so much for your help..xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Jayne thanks for the update. Exactly whereabouts have the sightings been? Great that you have had feedback from the postering, 99% of the time it is the posters that get dogs home. Good luck. Jan x Bumped due to sightings. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Jan Kath had a call today from a gentleman that had seen Lulu in our area the afternoon of the day she went missing. I have phoned him and he said he had seen a poster in a local shop and rang to just let us know he had seen her and convinced it was her. He was walking her dog and Lulu didn't look to be scared or frightened. He tried to coax her to him but she came so close and think was aphrehensive of his dog so he said she just wagged her tail and then sauntered off in the opposite direction. I have driven around the area again and dropped some more leaflets and posted some more in the area and also stopped a man walking his dog who also said he had seen her on the same road as the previous man on the same day. So altogether 3 sightings of her in the local area on the day she went missing .. then nothing.. I will ring around the usual places tomorrow. Thanks again, JayneLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Jayne, thanks for the update. You are doing great especially getting in touch with kennels and visiting in person, we always recommend to not rely on phonecalls alone and that DW/Kennels will get in touch with you if a dog is handed in. I have not long got back from Halewood RSPCA to check on dogs. Will ring you shortly about the GSD I spoke to you hubby about earlier today once I've spoken to his owners. - Cheers Jan.. I have made a few visits to the usual boarding kennels in our immediate area who are on alert. I did visit Nursery Farm Kennels in Knowsley and the girl there is sure they had a call last week to say someone had spotted a small dog on Knowsley Road...but obviously cannot confirm whether it was Lulu and the person was advised to ring the usual council route etc... Thanks again for you help... Jayne xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Had a long chat with owner who is doing the right things and has a lot of connections within the dog world. It is totally out of character for Lulu to stray for a long time and not come back she knows the area well. I've updated the various size posters and added owners mobile number and emailed to them with further advice/info. Thanks jaynesedley for registering on DL and the quick update especially after just getting back from your hols, as discussed if you get any sightings at all or if Lulu goes in any papers etc let us know and her page will be bumped up. Good luck in your search. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi. I am the owner of the dog and returned from holiday today.. Thanks for all your efforts on this. We have displayed the posters around the local area and have set up a group on facebook where all my friends in the local and wider areas have been invited and a few have promised to put up posters in there areas. It is not like Lulu to disappear from the garden and not come back and strongly feel she may have been taken... We are due to visit the RSPCA and other local rescues in the area just in case over the weekend. Many many thanks and hopefully she will be back home soon as the family and other dogs are lost without her.... Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks goldenfrodo. I am in work and have briefly spoken to friend of owner who has registered Lulu with DL. Owner is on holiday and is due back shortly. Lulu was being looked after and let out into the garden, which is secure, when friend went to bring her in she had disappeared. The area is Knowsley Village near Mill Lane not far from Knowsley Safari Park postcode will be updated later. I’ve updated some details. DW and Halewood RSPCA have been contacted. She has not been reported to the Police yet. I’ll do various size posters and send further info/advice later this evening. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
