Originally posted on local FB group and No1seems2care with this message from owner:
"Todd's disappeared from Blantyre train station at about 02.30 this morning (7-12-2023)Please watch out for him....yellow Lab, wearing a reflective yellow color, has a contact disc on his collar. He's about 14 or 15 year old, going blind and deaf. Please share local".

A post was added to DogLost Central Scotland FB group and at the same extensive searches carried out by Lanarkshire Trap & Scan Crew with help of a search dog, and advice give to owner.

A dedicated FB group was created "HELP US FIND TODD" https://www.facebook.com/groups/816568456937658 which includes the following posts and additional photos of Todd:

From Fiona at LT&SC on 23rd January:
"Just to clear a few things up. I am part of lost dog team Lanarkshire trap and scan crew and we have been helping since day 1. Those suggesting drone to home...they operate mostly in England and won't come out unless dog has been seen. We have drones. And drone sar group..we are ground searchers for them also and we have done what can be done to try and locate Todd. Small drone was up in first instance but there are restrictions with railway being near and residential area so we need to watch what areas we can cover. We have had thermal imaging cameras out, scopes to check in tunnels.
Again any pics sent are checked out also".

From owner on 8th February:
"Along 9 weeks almost to the hr, my best friend disappeared from Blantyre train station. Its been said so many times dogs don't just disappear. I'm not ever gona give up searching for #toddthedeliverydog . He's somewhere!! I appreciate everyone that's shared post, been out looking , sending in messages of support. Todd is so much more than a dog...he's my best friend 🧡. Please keep doing what u have been doing ❤️ #bringtoddhome LANARKSHIRE TRAP AND SCAN CREW Lost Dogs in Glasgow. From Fiona at LT&SC:
"Fri 16th Feb
Sadly still nothing to update. We appreciate all the posts sent of similar dogs found.
I have added pics to show Todd again. He's slim on the back, light golden in colour, whiter on face, pink nose, still intact (has his balls) Can't walk very far so highly unlikely he would be running away from people. Chip is flagged as missing.
Thanks again all for still being vigilant".

As a result of Todd being added to the DogLost website over 250 email alerts have been sent to DogLost members within a 10 mile radius of point of loss. I hope it helps to bring some news of Todd who is still desperately missed by owner Robert.

Have bumped Todd's post on DogLost Central Scotland FB group.

Sorry to see that TODD is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (190956)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
