Spoke to Dorrit's owner today and still no news of the old girl. Thought now that the fields have been harvested we might find her body but not a sign. Owner has promised to let me know if she is ever found dead or alive.

Hi there i have recently lost my staffy and Hazel from dog lost was great at giving advice and helped get my dog back and helping me from going mad, i found that by getting some sheets of timber board and getting a paint brush with some white gloss out and make some high vis sign boards and put them in your village or street and along any main roads i had 12 sightings within a few hours of getting the sign boards out make sure you speak to all public meeting points to spread the word, post office, butcher, doctors surgery, petrol stations I put ..............lost dog - name of my village .........any news or info pls call ...................reward .............get as many boards out as you can asap and have one outside ya front garden dont give up spread the word call ya friends and family x Hope you find soon x Kieron

Please stay safe until you are found Dorrit. It's heartbreaking when oldies get lost. All fingers and paws crossed here for a happy ending. Bridget

Bumped now photos have been received. Are there any local helpers who could put posters up. Owners are elderly.   Yes Dorrit is completely blind and I have passed your comments to owner.

Is Dorrit completely blind?   Because I remember a previous blind dog who just completely went to ground when lost, didn't move, and the owner quartered the field it was thought s/he was lost in and dog was found.   I think it was Catty Sara who gave this good advice but can't remember the name of the dog.   Hope this helps, stay safe Dorrit xx

Just been talking to Dorrits owner and she has no internet access. The email address we have is for her daughter who lives down south. They have 4 acres of land and Dorrit just wandered off. She could be in any of the surrounding wheat fields or she could have been picked up by a passer by. Owner has called all rescue kennels, dog wardens and vets. We have talked about leaving a food scent trail and I have told her to make the farmers aware that Dorrit could be in the fields as they are begining to harvest them . No photo available at the moment but if she finds one she is going to post it to me.
