Hi

I just wanted to let you know our success story.

six years ago we lost our jack Russell ruby from our back garden and although with your help we searched really hard for her we could not find her. On Saturday night we received a phone call from Harvey's Army saying she had been brought to them and had been found at Rivington, Bolton running in the road.

She is in good health and seems to remember us and be happy to be home.

I don't know if you will still have a record of her being missing, she went astray in July 2009.

Many thanks for all your help at the time she went missing

Oh, WOW, I have just seen this Amazing 'update' on HA Member Chops Owen's Facebook Page !
RUBY IS REUNITED, BACK HOME YAAAY !

A post appeared on HA North that a JRT was Running around
....." This little girl was found on Sheep House Lane, Bolton and had been running under cars and in traffic and a LOT of people had stopped to try and help, including a lady on the way to a wedding who ended up covered in white dog hair and she also gave a blanket and lead to keep the dog safe.

The four people that I met had put the post on Facebook and kept the dog safe until we could scan her, they also had been and bought her food and water (bless them!)

As soon as I scanned her it beeped YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

I spoke to Chops Owen and she rang the owners.......

Ruby had been missing for over 6 years!!!!!..........

Well Done everyoneConcerned -even the Lady going to a Wedding who stopped !
Facebook DOES have it's uses

The JRT with RDR is not Ruby.  Thank you to the helper for taking the time to look out for Ruby and alert DL.  I have contacted the helper by email to let them know.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am in this area, so will get in touch with the owner to see if I can be of any help. I have already spread the word, but the owner has already done a good job of postering and has also had an advert in the local paper. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
