Unfortunately it was not Mollie but a very close match. Second photo now uploaded showinf her markings more clearly.

Border Collie found in East Anglia with dog warden (on found page today) Left behind when travellers moved on. Thought to be stolen and dumped.

Mollie's owner has just had a phone call from the landlady of a pub in Baumber. She said there was a dog fitting Mollie's description going through their bins last Friday. At that time they hadn't seen a poster and just shooed the dog away. Baumber is on the A158 about halfway between Wragby and Horncastle. Have alerted my gundog trainer who lives 5 minutes drive from there. It is a very rural area with lots of woodland to hide in.

Many thanks Bee and to Yasa for alerting me.  I will do my best to check this out in morning but as it's a week-end I may have to wait till Mon for all the info we need. Keeping fingers crossed. x

Met the owner of The Pooch Mobile dog wash at the Bullies-In-Need show and he has offered to display Mollies poster on his vehicles which travel all over Lincolnshire.

Owner had a phone call in the early hours of this morning saying "I've got your dog how much is the reward". Message was left on answer machine and number witheld. Think it was probably a hoax call but hoping not and that they will get in touch again soon.

Owner had a call this morning about a dog fitting Mollies description wandering  and looking lost at Hubbards Hill in Louth.

Molly’s details have been distributed to Animal Rehoming UK,
Lincolnshire Pet Homing, Norfolk Pet homing, Suffolk Pet Homing, and local lists/rescues etc.
I live only a few miles from Belchford so will do a tour tomorrow in the area with my dogs.
Have you tried all the local boarding and rescue kennels in the area?
I hope you find Molly safe and sound very quickly.

So sorry to see Mollie is missing. I have created an A4 poster and flyers which have been emailed to owner and Ashmark. I do hope they will bring you luck, and Mollie will be home soon. My best wishes for her safe return. xx

Just spoken to owner and photo has been emailed to admin. This little girl is a very friendly dog and would go to anybody so we are wondering if she has been picked up and taken home by someone as she doesn't usually like being away from home. The place she went missing from is very rural so she could just still be out hunting. Dog warden, vets and local media have all been contacted. Have advised owner to saturate the area with posters asap.
