WELL DONE ASHMARK !!! This only confirms the advice we give to owners NOT to rely on the microchip being found when a stray dog is scanned ! Welcome home Flumps and stay safe from now on xxx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just had a text from owner :- He's home safe and sound. They only charged me ?60 in the end as they found the chip. Thank you so much for your help you have made my family very happy. WELCOME HOME FLUMPSLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Flumps is having to spend another night in kennels as owner couldn't get a lift to Wakefield where he is being held. She is having to pay a ?90 release fee even though he was microchipped apparently Springfields say their scanner isn't very good and didn't pick up the chip. Hopefully he will be home tommorrow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just had a reply from owner. The picture of the dog I sent to them WAS Flumps and they are on their way to pick him up. Will move to blue once they have him home. A bit of a worry though, the kennels have had him since the 19th and he is microchipped.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am sorry to see that Flumps is missing and thankyou for registering him on this site. Please can you either uplaod a photo of him or send one into us at admin@doglost.co.uk Please make sure all dogwardens, vets  and stray kennels have been informed. Check regularly with them and try to visit the stray kennels in person to make sure he is not there. You CANNOT rely on the microchip a sometimes this can be missed.! Poster poster poster as much as you can to raise all the public awareness possible. Hoping that Flumps is home again with you very soon xx Pam Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
