I hope they will be named and shamed once they are charged with theftbyfinding...
Did the vets actually scan Phes & access the database.?. Then handed Phes back.. Or did the vets 'help' 'this company' to attempt change of details.?..... Not good is it

Oh my god what a horror story. I would be beyond angry if that was any of my girls. What opportunistic scumbags, and shame on the vet who let her go. I hope whoever is responsible are charged by the police.
I am so so happy this gorgeous girl is back where she belongs, with her rightful family.

I'm glad that Phes is reunited, but the lead up to her being reunited are concerning.

Amazing news Phes, has now been reunited back with her family ❤️❤️ it appears Phes, walked into somebody’s house the home owner then contacted this local company who took Phes, to a vet to have the chip checked which were all up to date with owners details. It then appears this company tried to change the chip details twice into somebody else’s name and address. With the amazing work carried out by our GS Maria Walker, she was able to track Phes, down and inform this company they were acting illegally. The police were involved and thankfully Phes, was handed back over to her family earlier this evening ❤️❤️

It’s also worth noting the vet who scanned Phes, to find out her chip details failed in his/her duty of care as he/she should have taken Phes, in and alerted the dog warden not let her go back to this company.

Massive well done to all involved in this search and rescue and especially Maria Walker, who did all the detective work to enable all this to happen.

Please keep your chip details updated. If you move or change your phone number the chip company must be made aware.
