- Update on FB:
This week it’s 6 full months since we last saw our Belle 💔
Not a single sighting since she went missing on 19th May near the Lomond Hills
We miss her so much it’s hard to put into words. It’s something we’ll never get over.
Thanks to everyone who helped look for her and please can everyone keep her in their minds just in case miracles happen and she’s out there somewhere.
Thank you 💕
The Lomond Hills, also known outside the locality as the Paps of Fife, are a range of hills in central Scotland. They lie in western central Fife and Perth and Kinross, Scotland.Last edited: 2024-11-22 16:57:14 by VetsGetScanning - 2024-06-14 21:17 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
- Appeal for help with distributing leaflets this Sunday 16th June from owner KirstyR:
"Thank you so much to everyone that’s offered help on Sunday with distributing leaflets 💕 If this ordeal has shown me anything it’s how unbelievably kind people are, I keep saying it, but it’s blown us away, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts 💕
Further to our recent post here are the collection points for posters of anyone can help.
A volunteer will be there to distribute leaflets to anyone who can help 💕

It’s been a really hard day today 💔 Wondering where my girl is as the rain is hammering down.. Belle hates the rain 💔💔💔
In floods of tears the whole day and a hoax phone call really upset me. It’s so hard to stay positive as each day passes… but a few lovely messages and comments I’ve received from you guys have kept me going when I needed it most.
Thank you so much 💕

- Appeal from owners:
PLEASE SHARE 💕
Search for Belle 🙏
Absolutely heartbroken to have to share that our beautuful wee soul Belle has still not been found almost 2 weeks after going missing in the John Knox Pulpit area, Kinross 💔
Belle could be anywhere in the area, including either sides of the Lomond HIlls, and surrounding areas.
We have been following up any leads reported.
When I say Belle is a beautiful soul, she really is. She is the calmest, sweetest, kindest girl 💕 and not knowing where she is, is tearing us up inside.
We know this is a big ask but we wondered if anyone would be able to help us this Sunday 2nd June.
Because the area is so huge it’s a mammoth task trying to cover as much as we can and there are bits that we haven’t even managed to get to, despite having thermal equipment and drones. The treetops are thick and the area vast with heathers, gorse, thick treetops amongst other obstacles such as rugged natutal terrain .
If we could muster up enough people it would help to cover more and less accessible ground.
If it helps it’s supposed to be a nice day ❤️🙏 🌞
It would mean the world to us if you usually do walking or cycling if you could find it in your hearts to chose the search areas for your activities this Sunday.
A post will be on tomorrow with areas and more details will follow tomorrow for anyone who could spare some time on Sunday, and information and areas to be covered will be provided. These will include some hiking or lower level areas for anyone who would like to help but are not able to walk or climb a lot.
If you could possibly just simply comment yes or no it would give us a rough idea x
Much love and many thanks, for all the support and kindness we have received,

- Sorry to see that BELLE LOCAL HELP NEEDED WITH LEAFLET DISTRIBUTION is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (192315)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
