- Assume Eddie NEUTERD? If not may have gone seeking a mate, and they can go quite a way looking. They can also get lost, and disorientated., Assume all outbuildings checked, including empty houses, and cellars , as cats will stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very narrow spaces; about 3" wide, so has Eddie managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on on the drop. Place his UNWEASHED blanket into a clean container, and place in the garden in a sheltered spot. (Cats can smell scent from about three miles away) You could leave his litter tray out but beware other cats may use it. Take good walks around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. Try a squeaky toy too. Is there a Mr Big in he area (Dominant cat)? As sometimes they will chase a less confident out of it`s own territory; However the chased cat will not return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Was there a delivery van in the area, he may have got into? Paws xd that Eddie will be reunited very soon.
