- Was she wearing a red harness/ collar & lead?

Can you help us solve a mystery? Very sadly we retrieved a deceased dog this week from Linton on Ouse, found in the river. She was chipped but the details seem to be not up to date, we cannot get any response from any of the contacts. She was an approximately 12 year old golden/brown spaniel with a docked tail, wearing a red harness, collar and lead. We would like to give closure to her owners, so if anyone has heard of a missing dog please let us know.
Of course the Ouse at Linton has a big river catchment (Nidd, Swale, Ure) and we think she was in the water for at least a couple of weeks. Any information please ring the surgery on 01347 838888. Thank you πΎπ
