Still looking out each day on my way home for this little pup.  Any news? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke with owners earlier as I went to get petrol in Coulsdon and saw a crowd of youths with a tiny Bichon pup.  Very friendly and walked well on the lead.  Owner confirmed that Charly was good on a lead too and very very friendly.  Didnt have phone with me so rushed back and told owner i would go back down and see where they went.  Didnt have posters with me but they were going to have a look around and put posters up.  Probably a long shot but anything is worth a go. Fingers crossed. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, have given posters to my friend in Rosebushes, who takes her Retrevier pup up the downs most days.  She has been looking out for her today. She met a lady with a Bichon (whilst i was on the phone to her) on a lead and carrying a small one.  Unfortunately the one being carried was so old was unable to walk.  Still driving round every evening on the way back from work with the hope that I might see something.  Thinking of you. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Gave a poster to a couple of women on horses who had come from the yard at the top of Chalk lane.  Also told people at Lavendou yard yesterday (didn't have any posters with me).  Had a good look round the bushes between road and golf course but all I found was a very dead deer.  Put my last laminated poster in car park by golf course.  Will try to do some more later.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi just got back from postering.  Have done the top car park overlooking the track, Downs Road which backs the Golf Course, Tennis Club, few along the main walk tracks, main entrance to the course by the bottom car park, Langley Vale services, Dog grooming parlour, Drift Bridge off licence and tack shop, Ruden Way, notice board opposite the Pub.  Hopefully this will register with someone who may have found her.  Lets keep fingers crossed.  Will try and get out with my dog later and do the long walks along the car parks.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

'Fraid my printer isn't working at the moment so didn't have any posters, but walked the woods and golf course/the horse fields/and near the golf club this morning, scrambling into bushes in case she is caught by her lead.  Has her owner put any posters around anywhere ? Didn't see any. It is very important that you do and take some to the various stables  as has been said before. Have you managed to get an add in the local Guardian ?  May have been too late for this week I spose, if so try for next week just in case.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

On way to get my car, dropped some off in Ewell Village, in Cheam motors and along the A217 near Tattenham Way.  Shall drop some into Langley Vale motors too on way home and put posters up on the downs.  None seen so far as I came through this afternoon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Done the refreshment kiosk, pet shop and vet at tattenham corner. Also gave some posters to a guy from langley Vale who promised to put them up there.  Met a very friendly PCSO who took a poster, said he would put it up "in the nick" and would be patrolling that area last night. Try to get out again today.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to say all my plans went haywire today as one of my dogs was very poorly and I had to go and give the vet lots of money which is something I seem to be doing rather too often lately.  I did manage to get up to the Downs this afternoon but didn't know the area she'd run off from at that time. I walked in and around the woods in the middle rather than over the golf course side. I've passed details to my brother who lives that side of the Downs and he is passing on info to friends and neighbours. Besides the places I mentioned this morning the people at the little hut cafe are very good about displaying posters. Will attempt to get to the area tomorrow if I possibly can.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Once done most of the estate, I shall make my way along Longdown Lane South and down towards Rosebushes which is just off the edge of the Golf Course. There are big houses backing the edge of the Golf course and she may have got under fences and someone taken her in.  I shall make my along past the tennis courts and poster down there too.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Need to notify all racing stables in the area - they ride out to exercise early in the morning and you can see a lot from on top of a horse!  According to map, four lots of stables off Burch Heath Road adjacent to golf course - also golf club house just off Londown Lane S.  Sadly recent op prevents me from doing this myself.  Hope to hear good news soon ---Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

OK I have just spoken to owners son (its his mobile listed). Charly jumped out of car and bolted from carpark at the edge of the golf course (Guess you local local ladies will know better than me where that is) Charly still had her lead attached. Area was searched for hours last night by various people but no sign of Charly. Local vets and DW have been contacted too. Owner passes on thanks to everyone helping try to find Charly and will try to log on later to post. Have advised to poster poster poster. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters received thanks, printed off on bright paper too.  I shall probably concentrate on the Tadworth estate which backs the downs. Good luck all. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Take posters into the golf club of course and as many stables as you can. Also the new Travel Lodge and the Rubbing House where the smell of food may attract a hungry pup.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'll walk up there today with my girls. Jan, in Jolies the dog grooming place up there usually follows Doglost so will probably know already, but take her a poster. Also pet shop and vet s at Tattenham Corner, poor baby. Paula do you have an e mail for Ally ? She is a dog walker who I meet quite often,  she walks there most days. Hi, sorry to see your little one is missing.  I am only in Chipstead and would be more than happy to help you look/poster.  Have friends just down the road in Rosebushes and her and her three kids who are also dog owners/lovers would be more that happy to help to.  Let me know.  I am free most evenings.  Good luck and stay positive.  Need to get posters up straight away.  Take care.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
