I was driving to a show early Sunday 2/8/9 morning and saw a body on the main A22 at the road side (just off the road, on the verge - opposite the camping shop in that area) .. turned around to check it out and it was a dog, and I would say it had been there most of the night.  Very sad but it must have been quick. Being very early on a Sunday morning I doubt that anyone would be up, so I left a text message with a friend to contact the council, etc.  However, when my friend went to check; the dog had gone .. so can only presume that the council got there, or that 'maybe' owner sadly found the dog .. just thought it should be on here incase anyone is missing such a dog in the area.  RIP dear boy.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Copied from circumstances box: Sadly saw dog at side of road at 6.30 Sunday morning - stopped to check - had been in fatal RTA probably happened overnight and would have been instant.  No ID on dog.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
