So very pleased Jake is home safe. Thank you to the kind person who handed him to the vets, and so pleased he is ok. Really good idea there Bee about the Post it notes. They certainly helped here. Welcome home Jake - you stay put now xx

Thank you everyone, and the team at dog lost - the fast response to everything, telephone numbers etc, and resizing the photo for us .. Jake is reunited with owner, he is well, was handed in to the vets. One tip for future, we drove round the area he was sighted in, and handed out post it notes to dog walkers with a contact number on it, and showed them a photo of Jake, it was something they could easily put in their pocket, and everyone was so helpful. Owner and daughter are going to remove all posters now !!

Photo cropped and re-loaded to bring closer. There is a poster available by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 above the dog detail boxes, left hand side. You need to be registered and logged in to do this. I hope poor Jake is found soon. Will alert local co-ordinator. Good luck.

Jake is a very timid ex rescue dog, he has 3 legs, so quite distinctive, back leg missing. He is a small dog, no collar, but microchipped (to old adress) Owner is out looking now and contactable on mobile listed, please call if sighted as Jake will not come to strangers. SIGHTING this afternoon on Great Gonerby Estate, Grantham (Cliffe Avenue).
