This is another sorry tale I am afraid and one I feel really angry about so a bit of a rant coming here i am afraid ! The rescue who were caring for this boy(with the dog wardens agreement) were attending an event in the area this dog was found and took him along in the hope someone may recognise him. As it turned out his owners attended the event and spotted him. They asked if they could come back and collect him when they had finished walking round the show. About 30 minutes passed and they returned only to say they had decided they did'nt want him back !! what a way to treat a dog they had had from a pup and who is now aged 9. Poor boy !! I feel so thoroughly disgusted with these owners !!!! So now this small rescue has to care for Toby and hopefully find him a new home. This is the same rescue that has 15 year old Pip dog ID 19025. These owners were also traced but have asked the rescue to look after him as they are in ill health and have promised to pay the rescue to do this. No money has been forthcoming yet ! This rescue has no vacant kennel spaces  and therefore Paul the rescue owner has these 2 dogs along with many others in his own home. Thankfully there are people in this world like Paul who DO care ! Pam

This boy is wearing a collar which has Toby engraved on it but no contact details unfortunately and he is NOT chipped. Pam
