- Check all outbuildings numerous times, as cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. Brat in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very narrow spaces, about 3"wide, so has Pancake managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. Placer his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, You could leave the litter tray our, but beware, other cats may use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Cats can smell scents from about five miles away. Take good walks around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamkies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy too. Is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory; however the chase cat will not return, until they think it`s "Safe" enough for then to do so. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd.
