MESSAGE FROM DORA’S OWNERS

This is the message I’ve shared on social media 😘

*** Dora Update / Sunday 25/8 ***

(please share)

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has shared our story and provided invaluable help in locating Dora following her freak incident last Thursday leading to her disappearance.

We don’t have Dora back yet but I’m pleased to share some encouraging news.

We are confident we’ve tracked Dora down to her ‘safe place’ …the encouraging news is last night, working with an experienced team, with the use of thermal imaging equipment, food stations and tried and tested methods, we managed to track Dora down to a specific area (her ‘safe’ place).

Next steps…

In order not to jeopardise all the hard work everyone has put in so far in establishing Dora’s location and taking on board the advice/guidance from an experienced team we’re working with(these amazing people regularly find lost dogs), it’s important we don’t overwhelm Dora with unfamiliar scents and voices - in other words we need to scale back. So while the instinct (so kindly) is to join us, today, it’s important only us and the team continue where we left off last night and using these tried and tested methods to (hopefully and finally) recover Dora from what has become her new ‘safe’ environment. It may take a few days…

Updates to follow.

Thank you again for your support, we wouldn’t have reached the position we are now without this invaluable help.

Much love,

Eddie & Clare

Hoping lovely Dora is found safe and soon. xxx

Can we know where she was lost more exactly as the forest is huge and IP17 and IP 12 are close together. I walk regularly and also ride there so the horse riders can look out too.
